Youth MOVE Arkansas will work as a diverse team of young community leaders to create unity and unite the voices of youth while raising awareness around youth issues. We will advocate for youth rights and voice in Arkansas’ youth-serving systems while building a foundation that will empower youth to become successful not only in treatment but also in life.
Vision
Youth MOVE Arkansas envisions a system of care that first and foremost empowers communities in any way, shape, form or fashion. We partner with youth, youth advocates, supporters, parents, and professionals to guide the redevelopment of Arkansas’ youth-serving systems. We advocate for youth to utilize the power of their voice and life experiences to motivate and support others while fostering change in their communities and in their own lives. We envision a future day when youth are not viewed as the problem or treated as just as another case; but in a positive, encouraging, strength-based light. That day ALL youth that enter any youth-serving system in the Great State of Arkansas will be successfully prepared for life.
